Sagar Naik earned his bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from the Sarvajanik College of Physiotherapy, Surat, Gujarat following which he completed research training in Motor Control & Learning at The University of Florida, receiving a Master of Science degree. He is the Founder of StEP Initiative towards Development of Physiotherapy, India. Through StEP, he envisions establishing standards in Physiotherapy education, practice and awareness in India. Currently, he is involved in the developmental phase of the project along with StEP Initiative co-Founders and volunteers to address various challenges identified in the field of Physiotherapy, which will help us to move towards the development of Physiotherapy as a profession in India. In addition, Sagar Naik has served as Deputy Editor of PHYSIOTIMES for the last 2 years.
