READING IS THE KEY TO LEARN
Unlocking gives the feeling of freedom, but with a responsibility. To many, life did not give a second chance, so its not only our social, but also our moral responsibility to adhere to the norms of new normal and make this world a better place to live.
This issue is a celebration of the glorious 12 years of PHYSIOTIMES- India’s first and leading Physiotherapy Magazine. Walking down the memory lane, the seeds of PHYSIOTIMES were planted by Mr. Mukesh Nayak and Physio Bhumika Nayak back in July’2009. PHYSIOTIMES has always succeeded in building a bridge between amazing authors and inquisitive readers to share knowledge beyond limits.
I would like to thank Mr. Pradeep Karambelkar for helping me to continue the legacy. I have been fortunate enough to take up the responsibility since July 2019. Its been a wonderful journey since then connecting with young, budding authors to richly experienced Physios sharing their experience and expertise. Amazing has been talking with our cover story Sportspersons who have been ecstatic enough to share their experiences with the Physiotherapy Community.
July’21 issue covers interview with World Para-Badminton Champion Manasi Joshi talking about the Role of Physiotherapy in bouncing back after the life-changing accident only to take over the world. Enchanting articles covered in this special issue like, ‘Physiotherapy in Space’, ‘ The immediate effect of dry needling and extracorporeal shockwave therapy on hand grip strength’, ‘Emergency medical management in football, ‘Exploring a ray of hope in time of COVID crisis: High Flow Nasal Oxygen Therapy(HFNC), ‘ Is a clinically trained hemiparetic lower limb ready for real life environment-based challenges?’ and ‘from the PT’s Desk ’.
Happy Reading!!!
