Q. 1. Can you take us through your life journey in brief, starting from the early childhood, your schooling and family background?
I belong to a middle class family. After heavy losses in my grandfather’s business, my father started working as a hawker and he used to sell clothes in weekend market. I studied from a Hindi Medium Government school. Again, because of heavy loss, slowly my father stopped going to work, and someone had to support the family. Being the eldest son, I took the responsibility to run the show at the age of 14 when I was in 9th Std. Every morning, I used to go to school and after the school, I used to go to the market to sell clothes and make about 50 to 100 Rupees a day. From 6th to 10th standard, I was a topper in the class. But from there onwards sudden change of medium of instruction from Hindi to English affected my studies adversely; I failed in 12th class and spoiled an year. This was also partly due to lack of time to study as there were a lot of responsibilities towards my family.
