Dictionary says it is an extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws. In simple words, it means that science rubbishes the existence of miracles, yet we witness them, if not daily, at least once in our lifetime.
Science may be a dominating force, but it doesn’t have all the answers. It fails to define some beautiful colours of life, for example, shades of motherhood and miracles. Unfortunately, science only has a father (Galileo). If only it had a mother too, maybe, it knew that miracles don’t rely on reasons. All that’s needed is FAITH and, at times, strength – something that Mrs Anjum Maimoon denied giving up when her son met a fatal accident and was battling for life for months in a hospital.
