Prologue: Mrs. Snigdha ( Name Changed) came to me one evening during the clinical consultation time with complain of pain and stiffness in the Jaw. She also mentioned that while mouth opening there are click sound in the right side and occasionally she experiences headache above the right ear. She was also apprehensive of drinking soup as the spoon for soup is bigger suggesting restriction of mouth opening. There was gross limitation of the mouth opening.
After ab initio screening and checking the x-ray any severe pathology of the TMJ was ruled out. Manual Therapy techniques (Mobilizations and manipulations) were applied and from second sitting onwards she could drink soup properly. She was on cloud nine with the treatment.
