It was indeed a great pleasure to be part of the biggest ever Physiotherapy meet on this planet i.e. 16th World Congress of WCPT-2011 held from June 20 to 23 in beautiful city of Tulips Amsterdam, Holland. I had also attended the last WCPT Congress held in Vancouver (2007), which had set the standard very high for the Dutch PT’s. The flavor was released during the 15th World Congress itself by the way of extending the very warm invitation of WPT 2011. The event started with a fabulous opening ceremony on June 20 with Princess Margriet of Netherlands as the chief guest for the second time (as she inaugurated the WCPT congress in 1970 as well). The highlight of the event was key note lecture by Dr. Lorimer Mosely from Australia who spoke on Aiming Higher and said that PT’s has always changed the brain and we are ideally suited to target it.
