Beyond PT: Couch Surfing by Mukesh Nayak

There are two types of people in the world - those who love to travel, and those who don't. I'm more of the former. I mean, who doesn’t want to travel? Infact the very mention of the word brings back vivid memories of the past travels we have done, whether it was a family vacation or a school trip, a road journey with friends or a solo backpack adventure. Travel is something most people love and look forward to. Travel offers so much learning, an opportunity to meet new people; observe diverse cultures, relish different variety of local food, enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains or walk by the beach, visit places of historical importance, appreciate the world we live in and much more…

Despite all its benefits, it is never easy to travel. First and foremost, it requires time, most people find difficult to spare owing to their overly busy schedules. Secondly, it takes quite a bit of planning to travel to a new place. (or so most people think.) For many even packing is a bit of a hassle. And the most important of all; it requires money to travel, as lodging and boarding remains a pre-requisite for any traveler along with the cost of reaching to your desired destination and the local commute. There are additional expenses too depending on where you are travelling such as entry fees to the museums or theme parks, watching locally popular live shows, taking part in adventurous sports etc.
