Types of Manuscripts you can submit:

Articles : You can submit your article on any topic on interest within the arena of physical therapy or relevant to the therapists. 

Research Report: A report of an original research studies of any nature (clinical, scientific, professional or educational) using an acceptable method or design to address a research question or test a hypothesis

Case Report: A report on the clinical management of a patient or a series of patients that provides new insights into the treatment or natural history of a clinical condition.

Technical Report: An original report that describes the specifications, mechanical or technological aspects and evaluation of device(s) used in assessment, treatment, management or education.

Letters to the Editor: Decisions regarding publication of letters are made by the Editorial team.

Word Limit: 1000 to 1500 Words

Editorial Policies:

Ethics Statement
Authors should observe high standards with respect to publication ethics. Falsification or fabrication of data, plagiarism, including duplicate publication of the authors’ own work without proper citation, and misappropriation of the work are all unacceptable practices. Any case of ethical misconduct would be treated very seriously. 

Redundant, Duplicate, or Simultaneous Publication
PHYSIOTIMES reviews and considers a manuscript for exclusive publication with the understanding that the manuscript, or any substantial portion of the manuscript (as judged by the Editor in Chief), has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, whether in print or electronic form.

Disclosure of Commercial/Financial Associations and Conflict of Interest : All funding sources supporting the work should be acknowledged by the author. 

Permissions to Reprint Tables and Figures from Other Sources: To reproduce any third-party material (eg, tables, figures, images) within their article, authors must obtain permission from the copyright holder and be compliant with any requirements the copyright holder may have pertaining to this reuse.

Informed Consent: Along with their signed declaration form, authors of Case Reports should submit a signed patient consent form  for photographs or videos. 

PHYSIOTIMES doesn't charge any submission fees or article processing charges (APCs) to the authors for their articles.

Standard Peer-Review Process: Manuscripts submitted to the Magazine should address issues of relevance to physiotherapy. The Editor in Chief and Editorial board reserves the right to reject, without full review, any manuscript that does not meet PHYSIOTIMES requirements. All contributions submitted for publication are understood to be offered to the Magazine alone. In case of some revision after review, both the manuscript and reviewers' comments will be returned to the author for consideration. Please note that the submission of article is not a guarantee for publication. Manuscripts that qualify for full review typically are reviewed by content experts, and an Editorial Board member. The initial review takes 30 days on average. The mean number of days in review from submission to final decision is 45. If you have any questions during the review period, contact us at contact@physiotimes.com

Quick Review: Manuscripts that are likely to make an immediate impact on physiotherapy practice or have a time bound issue to be addressed are considered for quick peer review (15 days from submission to first decision). If you feel that your manuscript meets the criterion for high impact, please write to the editor at contact@physiotimes.com with your rationale for why the paper should be reviewed quickly.

 

Upon Acceptance

When a paper is accepted, authors are required to submit: The final accepted version of the manuscript (saved as a Microsoft Word [doc] file). It can be sent by email on  contact@physiotimes.com  along with a declaration as given below.
