NARRATIVE: Caught the CBR Virus - PALLAVI S WAKODE

Well I will start with myself, I have a special love towards elderly and I was always fascinated towards geriatric care and even towards occupational health and always wanted to do my postgraduate in ‘’Community Based Rehabilitation”(CBR). So; here I am to my dream place and dream specialty. It was by CHOICE and not by option.

Negative are the weak, It is easy to stay back and complain, they say Ignorance is bliss, But I think we need to change this.........

I don’t mean to sound judgmental at all, but yea, i feel like answering to my friends/relatives and strange but even to my fellow Physio friends who bring up this statement... that. ”Physiotherapy is a profession for rich patients”... Does u feel the same??? In conversation with one relative recently who said the same...”Physio’s make money with private patients...Just for 45 mins of ankle movements and knee bending 500 Rs they charge”... To skip the details and what I answered to the question and the entire lengthy story what I personally feel is, Aren’t we Physio’s giving the chance to people to think so???
