I was told that upcoming issue is devoted to Shoulder and I may write something relevant. Usage of the word implies that it is connected with bearing responsibility; another version is to carry the burden physically. In English as well as in Hindi and Indian languages to give shoulder to a dead body while being carried on to symmetry or for cremation (Kandhaadena) is considered an honour and the relatives and friends make it a point to share the honour. For warriors in the past, shoulder strength was crucial for handling the most weapons; the word Baahoo-bala aptly describes it.
